HO! Ho! ho! Merry Christmas!
The last two days of school for 2017 is upon us! We have many exciting things crammed into those days including the Polar Express Day events all day long on Monday. Please remember, if a child wears a gown, let them wear leggings underneath. Also, no house shoes/slippers. We will be reading the book, watching the movie, and participating in classroom discussions about the book. At 2:00 p.m., we will kick off our classroom Christmas parties! I can not wait for the fun we are going to have! I have many exciting things planned! As always, you are welcome to attend.
Then, Tuesday will be our last day of school. We are going to spend the day making fun memories with many activities. The culminating event will be the annual Christmas recital held at 1:30 p.m. Please remember- Tuesday will be a FULL day of school! Students should not leave until the dismissal bell at 2:45 p.m.
As the year winds down, I ask you encourage your child to read over Christmas break. They have made huge progress, and I want to keep that excitement and momentum going. It wouldn't hurt if you threw a little math in there, too! Hey, you know they are going to get bored sometime over the break! lol.
I hope everyone has a restful but joyful Christmas break! May all your dreams come true in the upcoming year!
