The Family Connection is a family resource / youth services center serving the children and families of the Fulton Independent School District. Our mission is to remove barriers in a child's educational path, clearing the way to graduation and a successful adulthood.
The Family Connection opened its doors in 1992 at Fulton Independent and is still going strong 25 years later.
Coordinator Tracy Pulley is located in room 109 at Carr Elementary on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. On Thursdays she is at Fulton High School (270/472-1741).
Among the activities/programs/events/services offered by The Family Connection: mentoring, Backpack Feeding, BADD Club, Art Club, parent involvement events (GROW Festival, family nights), Reality Store, Truth & Consequences, career/health speakers, grandparents' lunch, kindergarten readiness backpacks, substance abuse programs, emergency clothing/food assistance and connecting families to resources.
Ms. Pulley is also the Title One parent involvement coordinator for FISD. She serves on the Four Rivers CECC (Community Early Childhood Council), the Fulton/South Fulton Lions Club, the Purchase / Pennyrile CCC (Community Collaboration for Children), and the Fulton County ASAP (Agency for Substance Abuse Policy) Council.
