Facilities Local Planning Committee (LPC) Meeting

The Fulton Independent Schools’ Facilities Local Planning Committee (LPC) will conduct a public meeting and forum on January 31, 2019 at 5:30 PM CST at the Fulton Independent Board Office in the Board Room, 304 West State Line, Fulton, KY 42041. The public forum will begin immediately following the conclusion of the LPC meeting. The public is welcome and invited to this series of meetings and forums.

Wellness Plan Public Form

Back in session

DELAYED SCHEDULE - Classes will be back in session at FIS on a delayed schedule Thursday, January 18. School will begin at 9 a.m. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m.

Preschool will be in session as well Thursday, January 18. Morning class will have a shortened schedule - 9 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.; the afternoon class will meet for the regular time. There will be no bus so parents will have to transport the students to preschool and pick them up at dismissal.

The Grow Festival set for Thursday afternoon has been cancelled.

Join us January 15, 2013 at 5:30 at FHS! A chili dog supper will be provided for each student and 2 guests. All parents and students grades 7-12 are invited and will receive information on student and grade-specific testing, ILP, KEES, and much more!  Students will receive Infinite Campus Student Portal Access Codes to be able to continually check on their progress. All classes at Fulton Independent are cancelled Tuesday, May 19, due to the election. Classes will resume on Wednesday, May 20. Thursday, May 21, is the last day of the 2014-2015 school year. School will be dismissed at noon. Graduation is set for 7 p.m. Friday in the Fulton High School Gymnasium.

FHS students host pep rally

Weather-related Change

Because of the weather, Carr Elementary School is postponing Field Day until Monday, May 12.


According to FIS Athletic Director Chad Malray, due to lingering weather issues, the first round games for the Girls Regional Basketball Tournament have now been pushed back to Friday. The Fulton High School Lady Bulldogs will face Paducah Tilghman at 6 p.m. Friday at the CFSB Center on the Murray State University campus. Tickets may be purchased at FHS from noon until 2 p.m. Thursday and during school hours on Friday. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students. Students will have to pay $7 at Murray State if they do not purchase tickets through FHS. 

Friday night's Bandstand performance has been cancelled at FHS. There will still be two performances, though - one is slated for 6 p.m. Saturday while another will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday. Both will be staged in the FHS Commons. Tickets are $15 for adults ant $10 for students in 6th grade and below. The tickets include the show and a chili and hotdog meal. Tickets may be purchased from any choir member or by calling Mrs. Butner at FHS.
