TOP CARR COMMUNICATORS - Seven students were recent winners in the 4H Communication Day speech competition held at Carr Elementary School. They included (front row, left to right) Emi Govern, who did a demonstration speech entitled “How to Do a Waterfall Braid;” Gabriella Buckingham, who did a speech entitled “Polar Opposites;” Mia Hancock, who did a speech entitled “Terrific Toys at School; Linus Pulley, who did a speech entitled “Disney World is the Best Theme Park;” (back row, left to right) Jayden Padilla, who did a speech entitled “July is the Best Month;” Taylor Cantrell, who did a demonstration speech entitled “Crayon Lipstick;” and Owen Rodgers, who did a demonstration speech entitled “Benefits and History of Boy Scouts.” The students qualified to compete in the county 4H Communication Day held at Fulton County Elementary/Middle School in Hickman.
