Nicholas Lucy, a Fulton Independent School student, has been selected to participate in The Duke University Talent Identification Program’s 33rd Annual 7th Grade Talent Search. Students must be in the 7th grade and live in or attend school within Duke TIP’s 16-state Talent Search region to participate. They must also have scored at the 95th percentile or higher on an acceptable subtest of a grade-level achievement or approved state criterion-referenced test taken in the 5th or 6th grades.

According to Brenda Mahan, Fulton Middle School Gifted and Talented teacher, Lucy will be invited to take the SAT or ACT test during this school year and along with the honor of earning this distinction, will receive information on innovative programs and resources for high achieving students.
