The Fulton High School Lady Bulldogs will play for the district volleyball championship Thursday night at Fulton County High School. The match between Fulton and Hickman County High School will begin at 7 p.m. Admission is $5.
Fulton City soundly defeated Fulton County three sets to zero (25-9, 25-6, 25-6) Tuesday night. According to Head Coach Chad Malray, Susannah Whitesell had a big night serving the ball. Autumn Tucker, Fulton’s setter, was able to get the ball to primary hitters Hannah Grooms and Mary Kathryn Miller and the hitters finished.
On the defensive side, Taryn Crumble, Allie Caldwell and Ashley McClanahan played very well.
“Their ball handling allowed us to run our offense efficiently,” Malray said.
Make plans to travel to FCHS Thursday to support the Lady Bulldogs.
