The FIS 21st Century Community Learning Centers program (B3) will be sending home two different forms this month. The first form is on a goldenrod colored paper. This form is an interest survey for next year’s program. A mandatory registration day for the after school program is set for 5:30 p.m. Monday, August 4. During this time, parents will be provided with all the necessary information about the after school program and will be given the opportunity to fill out the enrollment form and other required paperwork. Parents are urged to mark this time and date on their calendars now. A postcard will be mailed out in late July to remind who fill out the interest survey about the registration day. B3 staff will also complete reminder phone calls during the first part of August. Only students who will be enrolled in grades 3 through 8 during the 2014-2015 school year may participate in B3's after school program.
The program survey form must be returned to B3 staff by Friday, May 9.
The other form is a B3 Summer Camp registration form. It will not be sent home with students until Wednesday, May 7. B3 is offering four free camps this summer during the weeks of June 2, June 9, July 7 and July 14. Only students who attend Fulton City Schools and who have completed second grade through those who have completed seventh grade may attend.
Any parent who did not receive a camp form may email Kim Jobe at email@example.com or Ann Cooley at firstname.lastname@example.org to receive a form. These forms must be returned by Thursday, May 15.
