EDUCATIONAL TALKKim Jobe, FIS 21st Century Community Learning Centers Bulldogs Beyond the Bell after school program site director, chats with Kentucky Lt. Gov. Jerry Abramson during the 21st CCLC Multi-State Conference in Louisville. Abramson participated in a College & Career Readiness panel discussion during the second day of the conference. He and Jobe talked about this and the importance of the afterschool program to students at Fulton. The three-day annual conference featured more than 700 21st CCLC staff members from Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, Indiana and West Virginia. In addition to the panel discussion and keynote addresses from nationally acclaimed educators, there were more than 65 workshops for attendees to chose from including sustainability, summer learning, STEM, global learning and health and fitness. A reception was also held at Churchill Downs where Jobe was able to take a tour of the track and visit the Churchill Downs Derby Museum.
