No more high school

Commencement exercises for the Fulton High School Class of 2013 were held Friday, May 17, in the school’s gymnasium. The event marked the 110th annual commencement in the school’s history.

Classmates Rebecca Whitesell and Tori Seng gave the salutatory and valedictory addresses. The FHS and FMS Choir sang “Unwritten” prior to the awarding of the diplomas. Presenting the diplomas were Tamara Smith, FIS superintendent, and Debbie Vaughn, chairman of the FIS Board of Education.

Seniors receiving diplomas included John Thomas Aden, Dexter Jae Alvis, Sade Taneka Beard,  Charles Samuel Curry, Elijah Marquis Duke, Austin Shamar Ferrell, Thomas Blake Foy, Khalil Taeshun Frame, Terry Leolan Hamlin, Deante Montrell Holder, Jonathan Albert Holdman, Jonathan Michael Howard, Julian Lee Howard, Devon Lamar Jackson, Alexia Nicole Jaycox, Nicky Lynn Jones, Brandon Charles Kellermeyer, Luis Fernando Machin, Joshua Michael Lee Marsh, Samuel Jordan Miller, Roy Allen Menser, Melissa Aynne Mora, Dustin  Blake Papierski, Mirisa Rachel Peak, Chad Michael Robertson, Victoria Leigh Seng, Korean Jicole Trice, Morgan Andrell Wade, Gregory Jerome Wheeler, and Rebecca Erin Whitesell.
